Mono-Unsaturated Fats Reduce Belly Fat Quickly

Probably you are asking what mono-unsaturated fats (also known as lipids) are- yes, you have heard it but can’t tell the definition. Okay, am here to help you.

Maybe you have heard people calling them Mono-Unsaturated Fatty Acids, abbreviated as MUFAs; they are all and the same thing.

Mono-Unsaturated Fats are fatty acids that possess one double bond in fatty acid chain with the remaining carbon atoms having single bonds.

We have three types of lipids:

v  Mono-unsaturated

v  Poly-unsaturated

v  Saturated

Among the three, Mono is the best choice to reduce a belly fat, while poly-unsaturated are still okay. However, saturated lipids are the worst.

Poly-unsaturated and saturated lipids take longer to be broken down to energy. Consequently, the body stores them as fats (Just the exact opposite of your intentions to reduce belly fat).

What makes Mono-Unsaturated Fats ideal for reducing belly fat?

Comparing with the other fats, they can be broken down by the body easily. Hence they are not stored as bulk fat. Instead, the body burns them as quickly as possible to act as a source of energy. They are also attributed to lowering cholesterol levels. With this combination, they make the best option.  It is approximated that 30% of daily energy intake should come from fat. The rest should come from carbs and protein (approximately 60% and 10% respectively).

Therefore, if you want to reduce flabby belly then Mono fats are the best.

Where can I get sources of Mono-Unsaturated Fats?

The sources are not limited to the following;

v  Almonds

v  Avocadoes

v  Nuts

v  Rice bran

v  Sunflower seeds

v  Cod liver oil

v  Sesame seeds

v  Rapeseed oil

v  Olive oil

v  Canola

In conjunction with other healthy and balanced diet, unwanted belly fat will reduce within a short time. Subsequently, your body will improve in health and heart related diseases will be minimized (Mono-Unsaturated Fats are heart friendly).
