Tomatoes are known to have a high content of vitamin C and citricmalic-oxalic acids. Acids speed up the rate of metabolism in addition to helping kidney to get rid of huge quantities of fat deposits. The acids also help to remove fats in the human body system.

They are mainly comprised of beta carotene and lycopene.
